Ten Magic Millions 2yo Winners In Three Days

Market On Open continued the remarkable late season run of Magic Millions juvenile graduates when he cruised home in the $65,000 Two-Year-Old event in Singapore on Friday night.

The More Than Ready youngster, an $85,000 buy from last October's National Horses in Training Sale, made up for a recent unlucky debut effort with a brilliant three and a half length success.

Trainer Michael Freedman was glad to see the youngster but his best foot forward at his second start.

He elected to not take on Gingerbread Man and co in the recent Magic Millions Juvenile Championship and instead felt Friday night's event was a better goal.

"He had a pretty torrid run on Derby Day and I didn't want him under too much pressure too soon," Freedman said.

"I've had a pretty high opinion of him right from the day he came into work and there is still plenty of time for him to run in the better races."

"I certainly class him up there with some of the better ones in the stable."

A Baramul Stud graduate as a yearling, where he made $65,000, Market On Open then made $85,000 when resold by Niara Lodge last October on the Gold Coast.

By the outstanding Vinery Stud stallion More Than Ready, he is a half brother to five winners including smart Sydney galloper Gangitano.

Dam Time for Bed is a daughter of the Group One Queen Elizabeth Stakes winner Dinky Flyer.

Market On Open made it 10 two-year-old winners for Magic Millions graduates in just three days in a barnstorming conclusion to the 2009/10 season.

The other nine were in Australia and included the impressive youngsters Private Label, Decided, Auburn Streak, Stellar King, Elusive Bounty and Temple Court.

Magic Millions two-year-old graduates have won no fewer than 338 races in Australia alone this season including 21 at stakes level.

The highlight gallopers have included the likes of Star Witness, Military Rose, Motion Pictures, Toorak Toff, Masquerador, Brightexpectations and Ringa Ringa Rosie.
